Kruti Buch leaves the Alliance

It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the departure of our outstanding Effectiveness and Learning Advisor, Kruti Buch. She leaves with our thanks for an outstanding contribution made over the past year.

Kruti has facilitated a range of important training and learning opportunities for Alliance members, including two new working groups: ‘Leave No-One Behind’ and the ‘Fundraising Working Group’. Check out details here.

She has also more than doubled the number of mentors we can deploy to support our members with specific organisational development topics.

Furthermore, Kruti has been invaluable in building up our online resources which remain available here

Bridging the gap as we recruit her replacement will be Philippa Ramsden, an international development practitioner with over 17 years’ experience in the international development sector, most recently with Save the Children in Rwanda. Email Philippa.

We are also happy to announce another new member of our team – Sofia Pira – who joined the Alliance last month as our new Communications and Administration Assistant. Sofia hails from Southern Sweden and has recently completed an internship with the International Voluntary Service (IVS), one of our member organisations. Email Sofia.
