DFID Deadline for EU/ECHO assurance policy IMMINENT!
Organisations in receipt of funding from the EU/ECHO are at risk of having their contracts cancelled as the UK leaves the EU. DFID has created an assurance policy. Organisations affected can apply to DFID who undertake to replace lost EU funding for the period of that grant or contract.
You need to register with DFID first, by completing and their template and emailing it to them before their deadline of 20 September! If you have an EU grant or contract, we recommend very strongly that you move quickly to register with DFID. Once you have DFID approval, DFID will communicate with you about your grant or contract and your cashflow needs.
Victoria Wickenden from Care has written a blog for the Bond website which is essential reading.
Scroll down the blog to find the template and email address are under para ‘What Can you Do?’, point 2.
