Ombetja Yehinga Organisation (Scotland)

OYO Scotland exists to support the Ombetja Yehinga Organisation (known as OYO) in Namibia. OYO was created 10 years ago. It uses magazine writing, drama, dance and film-making to draw children and young people into exploring the themes they consider most important to them, concerning their health and wellbeing. the objective is to ensure that children and young people are as well informed as they can be, as they make choices about their behaviour and future lifestyles. It is also a rights based organisation working to ensure that childrens' rights are understood and respected. OYO Scotland raises awareness and funds for OYO and supports its work however possible.
