King's Community Foundation

King’s Community Foundation is a charity based in the city of Aberdeen. It was first established in 2010 by a few members of a local church, King’s Community Church. These individuals felt a strong desire to make a positive difference in their community and create a place where people could thrive. Although the Foundation derives from religious tradition, it exists solely for the purpose of community transformation. Our goal is to help people make a meaningful contribution to society, by reducing the barriers that prevent them from reaching their potential.

We realise that the solution is not only in our hands, so we place great value in working in partnership with other organisations. We value people and invest in communities in Aberdeen and across the world. Our work has led us to Montenegro where, sponsored by a local Aberdeen business, we brought an impoverished community together to provide hope for their future. Today our work is focused in the city of Aberdeen and Northern Kenya.
