STRIDE is a registered charity (Number SC044225) working in the UK and overseas. It brings together people from the African diaspora and other stakeholders to fight injustice and participate in efforts to relieve poverty and suffering in deprived communities in the UK and in sub-Saharan Africa. We do this by creating spaces for the exchange of ideas, skills and experiences amongst Africans and by advancing the rights of vulnerable individuals of African descent in the UK and in Africa through practical action.
STRIDE is dedicated to increasing the capacity of African civil society to advance just and sustainable development and thus improving the living standards of young women and men. The organisation will work as a coalition of like-minded professionals committed to promoting education and social justice.
A world in which all children and young people have the education and skills to achieve their highest potential.
To promote the education of children in vulnerable situations, enabling them to access primary, secondary and tertiary educational institutions in some of the poorest communities in sub-Saharan Africa.
We exist to contribute to sustainable development and better living conditions for the African diaspora in the UK and in communities in Africa
