Teaching and research related to international development take place in the Global Development Academy and Centre for African Studies, among others. The University also contributes to global development through providing scholarships, and also distance learning opportunities, for students from all over the world. The Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability works across operations, research, teaching and external collaboration, on issues including climate change, sustainable procurement and fair trade, responsible investment, and circular economy.
