Training and E-Learning
The Alliance offers training and online learning opportunities across a range of topics relating to international development and humanitarian affairs. Previous training courses have covered project management, fundraising, communications, monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL), safeguarding and good governance. Last year over 250 people attended our training and online learning events!
We aim to make our annual training programme as accessible as possible for members by providing a variety of face-to-face workshops, online training sessions, webinars and a suite of web-based resources. All workshop materials including PowerPoints, handouts and webinar recordings are available for members to access on the previous events section of the website.
Please visit the upcoming events page to find out what training workshops, online sessions and webinars we have planned in the near future. If you have any questions about attending a training course or would like to know more about upcoming events, please contact a member of the Effectiveness & Learning team.
Who can attend?
All training and online learning opportunities are free to organisational and individual members. Training courses are also available on request to non-member organisations where there is space available and for a fee of either £50 for a half day course, or £100 for a whole day course.
Require additional funds to access training?
The Alliance offers a training bursary to organisations with an income of less than £250,000 to access training offered by external providers and to help with travel costs. To find out more about the eligibility criteria, the amounts available and for information about how to apply, please visit the Members’ Training Fund page.
