Trust Fundraising Admin & Research Volunteer - Christian Aid

Time Commitment: one day a week

About the Organisation:

Christian Aid are the international development agency for 41 sponsoring churches. They were established so that sponsoring churches and others ‘could respond to Christ’s command to care for all in need’.

Their values are rooted in their Christian belief and are based on their understanding of relational theology, which asserts that human beings are called to have a special relationship with God and in turn to have a particular relationship with one another.

Outline of Responsibilities: 

The main focus of this role is to assist Trust Fundraising by:

  • managing the administration of donations and maintaining impeccable records
  • researching new potential trusts and foundations that we can apply to for funding

The volunteer will be supervised to undertake this role.

What skills do you need?

  • Attention to detail
  • Experience using Microsoft programmes, especially Word and Excel 
  • Methodical research skills
  • Some experience using databases
  • Good numerical aptitude
  • Ability to take direction
