Funding and Partnerships Officer, Mary’s Meals International

Role and Responsibilities 

In joining Mary’s Meals, you will become part of a global movement supported by people from all walks of life, focused on one simple goal – that every child receives a nutritious daily meal in their place of education.

From small beginnings feeding just 200 Malawian children in 2002, we are now reaching 1,230,171 children in 14 countries around the world with a daily meal in school.

We are looking for an exceptional individual in the capacity of Funding and Partnerships Officer. Reporting to the Funding & Partnerships Manager, you will support the implementation of strategies that catalyse the long term financial sustainability and growth of Mary’s Meals through philanthropic opportunities, partnerships, foundations and institutional donors to meet the needs of our existing donor base and capitalise on opportunities that arise.

Person Specification

It is essential that you have at least 2 years’ post graduating work experience and experience of designing and developing funding proposals, writing funding reports, collating and assessing information for written reports and summaries

In addition, you will have the ability to work effectively with a wide range of people in different countries and settings keeping in line. Strong organisation and writing skills and the ability to adapt and respond to changing demands in a fast-paced environment are also essential.
