Mary’s Meals is a global movement of people from all walks of life, united by our belief that no child in this world of plenty should endure a day without a meal. Theirs is not a movement that divides rich from poor, or giver from receiver. Every contribution is equally valued, from cash donations that buy the food, to the time and energy given to cook and serve the meals. Nearly every part of their work depends on unpaid volunteers and it is through them that our movement grows. Together, their are helping transform the lives of hundreds of thousands of impoverished children.

Role and Responsabilities

The Funding and Partnerships Manager is a new role within a newly created and growing directorate.  You will lead and coordinate the work of the fundraising and partnerships team who provide a critical and central role supporting the fundraising relationship managers across the globe to meet the reporting requirements of institutional donors, partnerships and foundations.    

The role will be based at the Mary’s Meals International HQ in Glasgow, and may require travel within the UK and overseas to our national affiliate organisation and programme countries.  You will work closely with team members across all their locations and with colleagues working in other parts of the organisation to meet the needs of their existing donor base and support the development of new relationships. Your work will make a tangible difference to the lives of children in some of the world’s poorest communities.

Salary: £29,000 - £34,000 (depending on experience).

Person Specification

They’re ideally looking for someone with an institutional fundraising background, you’ll possess excellent proposal and report writing skills alongside being a great coach and leader. They’re very open to hearing from people who would prefer to work flexibly or part-time.
