Mary’s Meals is a global movement supported by people from all walks of life and we are focused on one goal – that every child receives a nutritious daily meal in a place of education.  We continue to change the lives of 1,257,278 children who today will receive a Mary’s Meals. As a result, they are no longer hungry in class, they will attend school more regularly and ultimately have the opportunity to gain an education, the stepping stone out of poverty. 


Role Description 

As part of the desire to strengthen the organisation, provide the platform for future growth and ultimately reach out and feed more children globally, Mary’s Meals are looking to appoint into the newly created role of Chief Officer – Operations.

With overall responsibility for the strategic development and operational success of the school feeding programmes and projects, you will manage relationships with existing partner organisations and build new strategic partnerships. Whilst growth of Mary’s Meals’ overseas programmes is a key focus of the role it is imperative that the quality of delivery remains high and Mary’s Meals’ core values and overall ethos are consistently demonstrated and apparent in all programme delivery. As part of a small, ambitious Executive Team, you will directly contribute to the development and implementation of a sustainable growth strategy that ensures the organisation can achieve its mission and objectives whilst adhering to its values.

The successful candidate will be a solutions focused, forward thinking and inspiring leader with relevant programme experience gained within international development and able to demonstrate a strong commitment to the values and overall mission of Mary’s Meals. Exceptional communication and influencing skills, entrepreneurial flair and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with a range of stakeholders will also be key attributes
