About the Organisation

The Mamie Martin Fund was founded in 1993 by Margaret and John Sinclair in memory of Margaret’s mother, Mamie, who worked to empower women and girls through education in 1920s Malawi. Fees raised by supporters of the Fund are used to provide school fees for girls who have gained a place in secondary school in North Malawi. After 25 years of supporting girl’s education in Malawi and with a growing supporter base, we are looking to expand our small team to support future projects.
