A round table meeting with Scottish Human Rights Defenders Fellow Laura Miti, Executive Director for the Alliance of Community Action (Zambia). This meeting will be an opportunity to explore issues such as accountability and transparency in aid and service delivery in Zambia, as well as the impact of grassroots education and mobilisation on systemic change.
Safeguarding Training for Trustees - Dundee

The responsibility to ensure that organisations have a healthy safeguarding culture and the highest standards of safeguarding lies with the trustees. Therefore, the Alliance is providing a set of workshops for board members, to ensure that Scotland-based organisations working internationally are supported and equipped to transform polices and practice, and strengthen their capacity.

Online Training Course: Introduction to Institutional Funding

This online training course designed for small NGOs will help you to think strategically about applying for institutional funds and how to factor sustainability into your strategies. The course will comprise an introductory exercise, a live webinar and access to a discussion forum, taking approximately one day to complete.
Project Management Training in Perth
3rd March 2020
This training course will cover the basics of designing and managing a project. Northern Star Associates will run a one-day workshop in Perth for Alliance members on the 3 March to share examples of best practice, adaptive management and help you leverage solutions to common project management problems.
Telling my story: Analysing and Reporting on Outcomes
11th March 2020
This workshop facilitated by Evaluation Support Scotland in Edinburgh will help you to get to grips with preparing an end of year donor report. It is primarily for Scottish Government international development small grants recipients.
