SDGs Training for Multipliers

SDGs Training for Multipliers

26th September 2017, 09:00 to 13:00

Gaia Education, SCVO and UNESCO GAP on ESD present SDGs Training for Multipliers.

The purpose of the training is to engage participants in the vitally important conversation about how to accelerate the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the local and regional scale in ways that are carefully adapted to the bio-cultural uniqueness of each locality.

The highly interactive workshop is based on a set of ‘SDGs Flashcards’, developed by Gaia Education and UNESCO GAP, containing more than 200 questions structured into the four dimensions of Gaia Education’s whole systems approach to sustainability (social, ecological, economic and worldview). Participants will explore each of the 17 SDGs in question-focused small group conversations aimed at collaboratively identifying actions and strategies that will support the acceleration of their implementation.

The day-long training will take place from 9:00 am and 1:00pm on the 26 September at the SCVO Headquarters, Floor 3, Hayweight House, 23 Lauriston St, Edinburgh EH3, a 18-minute walk away from Edinburgh Waverley Station.
