Scottish Government Small Grants Programme Information Day

Scottish Government Small Grants Programme Information Day

10th October 2017, 10:00 to 13:00

The Scottish Government has launched another round of the Small Grants Programme.

For the first time, the feasibility and capacity building grants up to £10,000 for each are now available to Scottish organisations working in countries designated as having Medium/Low Human Development on the current United Nations Human Development (UNHD) Index. These grants can help support organisations to strengthen their existing structures and address internal needs as well as support feasibility studies that could later lead to project grants with other organisations.

The projects grants up to £60,000 over a three year period are also available. These will be for Scottish based organisations working in the three priority countries of Malawi, Zambia and Rwanda.

Please ensure you read the criteria before attending, particularly that applying for any grant, your organisation must be a legal person. A legal person is satisfied by being incorporated, so a Company Limited by Guarantee, Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisations (SCIOs) and Corporations satisfy this.  Unincorporated organisations do not.
