Launch of the Leave No One Behind Group
Tuesday, 16th January 2018
Scotland’s International Development Alliance, with the help of its members, is excited to be launching the new working group on ‘Leave No One Behind’. The new group will focus on ensuring that international development is truly inclusive. From identifying needs to project proposal and delivery to monitoring, evaluation and learning, it is vital that the most marginalised and vulnerable people are not only included but engaged and involved at all levels.
This new group will gather and share information about how Scottish organisations are working internationally with the most vulnerable people and communities, with a view to developing a body of best practice.
This group is open to all members of the Alliance.
If your organisation has particular expertise in working with people living with a disability or long-term health conditions; street children; sex workers; refugees; women; LGBT communities; prisoners and their families or other marginalised groups and would like to share your learning and learn from others, then please get in touch.
The meeting will take place at The Leprosy Mission Scotland in Stirling. The venue is just under a mile from Stirling Railway Station. Train times to Stirling can be found here: https://www.scotrail.co.uk/scotland-by-rail/destinations/stirling
There are limited places for this meeting. Please register for your place.
