Tuesday, 8th September 2020
Date: Tuesday 8 September
Time: TBC (2.5 hour running time)
Location/modality: Zoom (all you need is a charged laptop, tablet or mobile and internet connection to join the session)
Who is it for: this workshop will be useful for all Alliance members looking to reflect and act on unconscious bias.
What you will be able to do by the end of the workshop:
have a better understanding of bias and how it can help to address issues of inclusion and inequality
understand how bias is reproduced and maintained
know how to apply strategies which can help them and others to de-bias
This interactive online session is designed to be engaging, providing participants with the opportunity to participate in discussion and debate, helping you to connect with the subject matter experientially. It is not designed as a silver bullet to solve equality issues, but designed to be effective when it is combined with other equality tools.
