Who is it for: this digital information session will be useful for organisations thinking about applying for the Small Charities Challenge Fund or those already mid-way through the application process

Why you should attend:

The Small Charities Challenge Fund (SCCF) is a part of DFID’s UK Aid Direct funding stream. UK-registered charities and not-for-profits can apply for grants of up to £50,000 to fund projects over two years. Organisations are eligible to apply if they have a turnover of, or, under £250,000.

The application process is a one stage process and the information session will walk you through the application and review process, as well as the financial and due diligence procedures required of successful applicants. Fund managers Mannion Daniels will share top tips from successful applicants, guidance about applying for the fund, as well as answering any unanswered questions you might have.

Since 2017, there have been 16 successful applicants, of which 95% had not received UK Aid Direct funding before and 75% were outside London and the South East of England. You can read a profile of SCCF grant holders on the UK Aid Direct website.

The deadline for the current round of applications is Thursday 28 March at 17:00.
